2022 seems to be the year of world-renowned brands making their way to Australia, and it looks like fast-food chain Wendy’s has its eyes set on Australia too.
Australian franchise consulting firm, DC Strategy, has announced its partnership with the hamburger brand. The firm says that Wendy’s has an ambitious strategy to “expand its brand presence into and across Australia.” They plan to do this by recruiting master franchises across the country.
Wendy’s
The first Wendy’s store opened in 1969 by American founder Dave Thomas. It has since expanded with over 7,000 locations around the world. Popular for their burgers, sea salt fries and frosty’s, the brand offers high quality food at affordable prices. It’s also popular for it’s savage Twitter presence.
Wendy’s is now looking for “world-class, experienced franchise partners with strong operations experience and a proven track record for growing brands in Australia.”
There’s no confirmation of where Wendy’s plans to launch first but when it does, it’ll join a list of other iconic American brands who have made their presence felt in Australia.
DC Strategy is currently taking applications for franchisees across the country. Get more info here and watch this space for updates.
