Fancy taking your sleep game to the next level?
What if we told you that it’s possible to doze off surrounded by elephants? Maybe not right now, but in the future, post-pandemic, travel-restriction eased world? Just think about it…
Wouldn’t it be wonderful? An elephant going on its morning stomp is one of the more unique alarm clocks we can think of, to be fair. Besides, just planning a holiday can lift our gloomy moods and have us looking forward to a brighter future. Science says so.
Over at the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp and Resort in Thailand, visitors can rest in their unique ‘Jungle Bubble’ pods to truly live among the animals. An elephant going on its morning stomp is one of the more unique alarm clocks we can think of, to be fair.
The see-through pods are the perfect spot to switch people-watching for elephant-watching, in an area highly populated by the friendly giants. Each bubble is 236 square-feet, complete with air-conditioning, bathroom, king-sized bed and dome room service. Can we, like, move here permanently? Pretty please?
Elephants on the ground have been rescued from Thailand’s city streets to live in their relaxing resort. During their stay, visitors will also be invited on the ‘walking among giants’ tour. Tourists will be accompanied by a vet or biologist to learn about how elephants think and behave.
Sounds like a once in a lifetime chance to me. If you’re interested in booking a pod among the elephants, head over to the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp And Resort website.
