When it comes to Melbourne’s rich dining scene, Flinders Lane is where it’s at, home to an abundance of acclaimed eateries. Among them is Supernormal, a restaurant inspired by the tastes of Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.
Excitingly, the high-regarded foodie haven has just announced they’re expanding up north to Brisbane in 2023.
At Supernormal, you can expect both traditional dishes which pay homage to the countries of origin, as well as contemporary takes on Pan-Asian classics.
We can’t forget the eclectic cocktail and wine list either!
It’s too early to say what exactly is going to be on the menu at the new Brisbane restaurant, but the Supernormal team has confirmed they’ll be utilising local Queensland produce.
If it’s anything like the Melbourne eatery, then the menu could include an al a carte offering, alongside the choice of an $80 per person banquet, where you can let the chef take the reigns instead of having to choose.
Brisbane’s second Supernormal venue may not be opening until late 2023, but we’re already super excited for what restauranteur Andrew McConnell has in store.
Supernormal is set to open inside Cbus Property’s forthcoming residential tower, which is currently under construction.
