We’re big fans of Wildflower Gin Distillery and their gin masterclasses, so when we heard that they were opening a bar at their distillery we just knew that we would have to go. More than once. So, if you haven’t yet been, April is the perfect time to go and sample their gins.

2. Go on a romantic gondola tour with dinner

4. Be immersed in this Drag De Luxe spectacular
Merging the glamour of traditional drag with high energy drag numbers, amazing costumes and incredible choreography, Drag De Luxe is more than just a show. Brought to you by Terry Daktyl, in this three-hour performance you will see Terry take to the stage in both ponytail and top hat to empower and illuminate you.
Performing at the Hinterland Hotel on 10 April, doors open 5pm.

Returning 14-25 April, 2021, the Gold Coast Film Festival is bringing films, panels, Q&As, parties and so much more to venues across the region. There will also be pop-up cinemas at rooftop bars, breweries and by the pool showcasing internationally acclaimed dramas, comedies and genre films, local indie gems, engaging documentaries, family features, and the scariest horror films.
6. For The Love of music
As part of the Australian tour, For The Love music festival will be taking over Doug Jennings Park on 17 April. Among the performances will be Flight Facilities, Running Tough, Boo Seeka, Mallrat and Cosmo’s Midnight. There are still some final release tickets available so you’ll need to be quick if you want to go.

7. See this Drag and Dine musical
The glitz and glam of Hey Felicia, a Drag and Dine Musical is coming to The Island in Surfer’s Paradise. Taking place in The Glasshouse, the dinner and show features five iconic Queensland Drag Queens belting out iconic gay anthems.
The performance takes place on 23 April.
