Illustrious Tuscan tenor Andrea Bocelli is returning to Australia, this time with a huge with a 70-piece orchestra and 60-person choir. Widely regarded as one of the world’s greatest classical musicians, Maestro Bocelli will bring a variety of melancholic love songs, riveting crossover hits and more from his prominent back catalogue spanning over 25 years.
Presented by Teg Van Egmond, the tour kicks off in Brisbane this October before heading to Sydney, the Hunter Valley, Melbourne and Perth.
“The Australian tour dates are not just concerts to me, they are opportunities for us to immerse ourselves in musical beauty on a grand scale. For these upcoming shows, my aim is to restore some serenity and enter gently into people’s hearts,” Andrea Bocelli said in a statement.

Bocelli has recorded 15 solo studio albums of both pop and classical opera and sold a staggering 75 millions records around the world. He won a Golden Globe for his song, ‘The Prayer’ for the animated film Quest for Camelot apart from scoring nominations for the Academy Award and the Grammy Awards. He has also collaborated with contemporary artists like Dua Lipa and Ed Sheeran, thus introducing his work to a whole new generation of fans.
